One of the Weekend Appreciation Team’s favorite summer activities in the Triangle is to go to a Durham Bulls game. A summer without one trip to the Bulls’ stadium in downtown Durham just doesn’t feel like summer!
We attended a game last night and had a blast despite the 90+ degree weather at 7pm. The Bulls’ park features lots of tasty food (with Thursday nights featuring $1 hot dogs and fries in particular) and a fantastic selection of beer, which their conveniently provide a guide to in the program. And then after the game, keeping in the July 4th week spirit, the park put on a great fireworks display.
If you haven’t gone out to a ballgame yet this summer, we highly recommend it! Tickets can be purchased online at the Durham Bulls website or at the box office at the park (which will save you some convenience fees!)
